(b. 1997) is an artist born and based in Northern Virginia. She graduated May 2020 from Virginia Tech's School of Visual Arts, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts concentrated in Studio Art. Alexys' practice is primarily concentrated in painting, drawing, and photography.

Her work expressively frames emerging subjects within planes of color. The likeness of individuals, objects, and places act as uncontainable forces, pushing out of restrictively cutting spheres of geometric forms. Saturated and striking semblance compose graphically popping, surreal atmospheres. From oil on canvas to Sharpie on 3x5 Strathmore sketchbook pages, focal points are personified by bursting strokes of color, shedding a vivid, yet intense identity.

Alexys aims to emerge into and expand upon the art world through continuing practice, studies, and professional work. She most recently exhibited at Floyd Center for the Arts Emerging Artists Exhibition. She has worked in gallery settings, interning at Target Gallery of Alexandria, VA's Torpedo Art Center and recently attended a Summer Undergraduate Residency at the New York Academy of Art. She has also earned a Bachelor of Arts in English concentrated in Creative Writing.
